This course surveys the use of concrete as a building material. Topics include composition of concrete, concrete mix design, mixing, formwork, reinforced concrete, lightweight concrete, placement of concrete, testing, curing, concrete joints, prestressed concrete, precast concrete, and concrete finishes.
After completing this course, a professional should be able to:
