Important Information the student needs to know prior to taking this course
1. Students who enroll must complete the course within 6 months from date of purchase. Students must successfully complete this course by passing with a minimum grade of 70%. Real Estate Training Center is required to report successful course completions to the state of NY prior to the student sitting for the NY state exam. Students will be required to sign an online course affidavit during their proctored final exam stating they solely have completed the online course and they are taking the final school exam.
2. Refunds will be granted within 7 days of original order or before the student begins their second online module, whichever comes first. If, during or after the student completes the first online learning module and decides online learning is not for them, the student can request a refund through the Real Estate Training Center Executive Office. All refunds must be approved by the school Administrator or Director. All refunds will be subject to a $30 non-refundable registration fee. If the school allows a refund the school, not the student, must contact the Dearborn RECampus support team to authorize the refund to the student)
3. This is a self contained online course. No textbook or other materials are required to complete this course. However, Real Estate Training Center offers course textbooks as supplementary resources and other exam prep materials which may be purchased by visiting our website www.retc.com or by calling 800.358.7382
4. For instructor support and guidance you can reach a licensed real estate instructor by e-mailing your question to: onlinequestions@retc.com The instructor will reply by email within 2 business days (not including holidays). For all Technical issues with the course, (i.e. can’t log-in, don’t remember password) students can reach technical support staff at, 1-888-213-5124, Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM EST, and on Saturday and Sunday between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM EST.
5. The exam for this course is a 3-hour proctored exam to be administered by appointment at the Real Estate Training Center Executive Office, which means student must take the exam in person. Students have a total of two (2) separate attempts (if necessary) to pass the school’s final exam. Makeup exams must be scheduled within 60 days of taking the first exam. Students failing the end of course exam a second time will be required to re-register, pay for and complete the entire course again should they wish to continue. Students will be required to bring a picture ID to the proctored exam site. Student will pre-register for an exam via email or telephone at a cost of $10 non-refundable. All exams must be administered by our proctor at school location. Real Estate Training Center offers the proctored final exam at the following locations.

6. School requires a student affidavit. School will provide this affidavit form to student at time of final exam.
7. Students must recognize that distance learning requires a great amount of motivation and dedication. In many cases students will find that distance learning is a more difficult method of study as compared to classroom based education.
