2010 License Renewal Information
Brokers Deadline– 3/31/10 Salespersons Deadline– 5/31/10
The State of CT requires licensed Brokers and Salespersons to complete 12 hours of continuing education courses. Six hours (6) of mandatory coursework which is: CONNECTICUT BUYER AGENCY (3 HOURS) and CONNECTICUT DISCLOSURE, RESPA AND LAW UPDATE (3 HOURS) and an additional six hours (6) of any real estate elective courses.
The State of Connecticut, Department of Consumer Protection, Real Estate Commission announced that effective September 2009 Real Estate schools are no longer required to issue Certificates of Completion for continuing education courses. Salespersons and brokers course participation completion information will be uploaded, by the provider school, to a centralized data bank with a third party vendor/designee.
